a walk.
Recently discovered this beautiful trail right next to our apartments and now I can't stay away. Tyler and I have been frequenting this path for a few days now, and it's the perfect get-away-from-it-all-and-get-some-exercise trail. Perfect.

want list
I'm not sure why, but lately I've been shopping with my inspiration hat on, and seem only interested in pieces that literally take my breath away. Like gasp out loud. When this happens, I get a feeling in my gut and heart that it must be in my wardrobe. Someway, somehow. Luckily I just purchased one of the items above, the Motel Becka Skirt in Mountain. It reminds me of Tahoe, one of the most inspiring places to be. (I think this whole inspiring thing came from me cracking down and starting to write once again, so I automatically have my writing hat on all the time, constantly looking for inspiration.)
These pieces are probably some of the most beautiful things I have seen. There are some things holding me back from purchasing them - the floral top from Mikkat Market is only sold in large; the floral platform is not practical for me for everyday; the floral denim from Joe's Jeans is way out of my price range; and lastly, the floral flatform my fiance hates. But still, each piece holds a significance even to just simply look at. The pansy denim reminds me of when my mother would plant pansies as it was her favorite flower when I was growing up; in a way they symbolize her, and I would kill to have them on my legs as we speak.
Do you have inspiring pieces that take your breath away when you look at them?
